The board voted unanimously to grant the permit for Bethany Sivula's single-family home construction after reviewing building plans and modifications to the original layout. The board determined the work is not detrimental to abutters or the town and will benefit the family following loss of the original home.
The applicant can proceed once the 20-day appeal period expires and the decision is registered with the Hampden County Registry of Deeds.
