Wales Library board approved bylaws for counsel review and authorized parking grant research. The trustees unanimously approved library bylaws for presentation, rescinding an earlier January 2026 approval, in a motion by Sue Gregory, seconded by Keri Pitcher.

Wales Library board approved bylaws for counsel review and authorized parking grant research. The trustees unanimously approved library bylaws for presentation, rescinding an earlier January 2026 approval, in a motion by Sue Gregory, seconded by Keri Pitcher. In a separate unanimous vote, the board approved a motion by Pitcher, seconded by Gregory, to research an ADA grant to improve the library's parking area, with Director Kara Jund forwarding the research to volunteer Stacia.
The director reported the library surpassed its circulation record in July and discussed streamlining patron responses through automation and website FAQs.
