Planning Board names Jason Oney as Capital Improvement representative.

Planning Board · Meeting of January 12, 2026

Wales Planning Board unanimously names Chair Jason Oney as its representative to the Capital Improvement Planning Committee, replacing Danelle LaFlower. The board also heard a formal amendment request from William Matchett of T-Works, 45 Union Road, who operates under a Class II Car Dealer license but was found storing more motor vehicles than his two-vehicle limit permits. Matchett, who reports selling 38 trailers in 2025, disputes the Building Inspector's interpretation that Class II licensing covers trailers and seeks to amend his special permit conditions, a change requiring a public hearing.

The property's 20.546-acre Chapter 61A agricultural classification further constrains available storage space for vehicles and boat storage on the 21.546-acre parcel.
