Planning Board discusses Wales Irish Pub permit, application requirements

Planning Board · Meeting of April 15, 2026

WALES — Planning Board discusses Irish Pub permit status and tightens application rules. Chair Jason Oney led discussion of whether the Wales Irish Pub's special permit has been abandoned or suspended; the board noted that a three-year cessation of operations would trigger permit lapse. The board unanimously approved prior minutes and voted to amend application requirements, reducing submission copies and mandating PDF submission to the Code Enforcement Coordinator.

Amendments will be proposed formally at the May 13 meeting.
