Wales library board voted unanimously to appoint Chair Carolyn Boehne as Selectboard liaison. The trustees adopted the measure after reviewing a February 26 Selectmen memo they said misconstrued library policies.

Wales library board voted unanimously to appoint Chair Carolyn Boehne as Selectboard liaison. The trustees adopted the measure after reviewing a February 26 Selectmen memo they said misconstrued library policies. The board also voted unanimously to submit a warrant article exempting library employees from town personnel bylaws.
Library Director Kara Jund reported ongoing operational challenges including payroll processing delays, staff issues with blank timesheets, and loss of Amazon account access, forcing the library to pay three to four times more for supplies than online vendors.
