WALES — The Wales Public Library Board of Trustees continued its review of proposed library bylaws July 27. Library Director Kara Jund reported on successful Plushies Sleepover programming and upcoming Zoo and Pooh Bear programs; she noted reaching out to Here Today Adopted Tomorrow shelter for a painting project and posting the Strategic Plan to the MBLC. Trustee Sue Gregory reported coordinating with town agencies: Fire Department on inspection status and Police Department on monitoring for the October 24 Pooh Bear program from 9 a.m. to noon.
Trustees are awaiting MBLC guidance on bylaw adoption and Jund's job description. Bylaws review continues August 4.
