Wales Finance Committee approves $5K fire department transfer and six municipal budgets. Members Ed Fisher, Christine Jacques, and Tyler Stretch voted unanimously to fund vehicle repairs and accept budgets for the Moderator, Legal Services, Zoning Board of Appeals, Town Offices, Annual Report Printing, Code Enforcement, and Library. Three items were tabled: transcription software ($3,000), referred to the Board of Selectmen with pricing review assigned to Stretch; Department of Public Works storage equipment, awaiting price comparison from Jacques; and Board of Health stipends, pending the current fiscal year ledger from the Town Accountant.
The reserve fund fell from $40,000 to $35,000.
