In separate business, the commission heard a presentation from Norcross Wildlife Foundation's Ed Hood and MassAudubon's Linda Hutchins on an Ecological Restoration Project to remove four jurisdictional dams on Vinica Brook; three dams are in poor condition and one in fair condition per Massachusetts Office of Dam Safety reports.
Norcross will pursue permitting through multiple state agencies and the Wales Conservation Commission, with commission site visits requested once permitting begins.
